NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police officers arrested a man they say allegedly hit a bicyclist then took the man in his vehicle and dropped him off in a nearby alley.
Police say 53-year-old Vincent Shinault seriously injured 57-year-old Percy L. Williams when he hit him with his 2004 Pontiac Grand Am on June 8th.
Police say the crash happened near the intersection of charlotte Avenue and 31st Avenue North, but Shinault allegedly loaded Williams into the car and drove him to the alley where he was left. A resident in the area heard Williams’ moans and called authorities.
Shinault allegedly traveled to his Maudina Avenue home and told the car’s owner that he had been involved in a crash.
