NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police have made an arrest for an East Nashville shooting that killed a woman in April.

U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force took Kevin Horner, 27, into custody in Dickson County Saturday.

Police had been looking for Horner following the April 10 shooting that killed April Wilson, 33, at her Riverchase Apartments home.

Horner allegedly fired a gun multiple times outside Wilson's apartment, which hit and killed her.

The next day he reportedly pulled a gun on a driver who rear-ended him on Ellington Parkway's Trinity Lane exit. Horner ran from the scene.

Officers found a gun inside his car. They also found shell casings that matched those from the murder scene.

He's charged with felony aggravated assault and criminal homicide.

Horner was convicted of robbery in 2018, as well as domestic assault and vandalism in March 2019.
