SMYRNA, Tenn. – A man has been arrested after numerous businesses were burglarized in Smyrna.
Officials in Rutherford County said Neal Brian Hammons was taken into custody Wednesday. He was charged with 21 violations, including burglary, theft, vandalism, possession of burglary tools, and possession of schedule II drugs.
Officials said sufficient evidence led to Hammons arrest.
Throughout an investigation, police found similar burglaries had happened in Murfreesboro and Williamson County where Hammons was also facing burglary charges.
Hammons was also facing charges in Nashville for domestic assault.
