U.S. Marshals arrested fugitive murder suspect 33-year-old Kevin Newson in Texas in connection to a fatal shooting Friday night.
Newson was wanted for the shooting of Jacqueline Johnsonafter an altercation at Firehouse Discount Liquor store on Dickerson Pike.
Newson was found in Elgin, Texas Tuesday afternoon. He was charge with criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
Newson has previous convictions for robbery, aggravated burglary, cocaine possession, and unlawful weapon possession, and will be returned to Nashville soon.
