Police confirmed a man was arrested after he allegedly broke into the fire department and fell through a ceiling.

Reports stated 27-year-old Bradley Maxwell Cozart allegedly broke into the offices for the Nashville Fire Department located in the 3800 block of Charlotte Avenue.

Police reported Cozart used a screwdriver to break into a Metro Public Works truck that was parked before breaking into the NFD offices. He took bolt cutters and various tools from the truck, and the tools were then used to break into the NFD.

A police affidavit confirmed Cozart fell through an office ceiling, causing damage. He also allegedly put on NFD clothing, including a shirt and boots, before he was found by employees and ultimately detained until officials arrived at the scene.

Cozart has been facing multiple charges, including burglary and burglary of a motor vehicle. He was being held on a $26,500 bond.
