Man Captured, 2nd Suspect Sought In Franklin Armed Robbery

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Authorities confirmed an 18-year-old has been taken into custody in connection with an armed robbery in Franklin.

Police said 18-year-old Chris J. Harris was spotted Wednesday. He has been taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery.

Harris was being held on a $500,000 bond and has been scheduled to appear in court at 1 p.m. September 17.

Franklin police said  the search for 17-year-old David Lamont Marsh was ongoing. He has been wanted for aggravated robbery for his involvement in the incident on September 7.

Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

The robbery happened shortly before 5 a.m. at a Mapco on Goose Creek Bypass, not far from Interstate 65.

According to police, the suspects beat the clerk and fired several shots before fleeing. No one was struck in the shooting.

Investigators said Marsh is aware that he is wanted and they now consider him a fugitive.
