A man was carjacked outside apartments in South Nashville.
Metro Nashville Police responded to a call in the 4000 block of Edmondson Pike at Woodlea Place just after 1 a.m. Saturday.
Police said the victim went there to pick up his cousin and was approached by a man who walked up to his window.
The victim told officers when he rolled his window down, the man pulled a gun and pointed it at him.
Police said the man demanded money and an iPhone, pistol-whipped the victim, and dragged him from his car.
They said the man then jumped in the driver's seat and took off in the victim's vehicle.
Police have been searching for a Ford Taurus. No arrests have been made.
