CADIZ, Ky. – A man has been arrested and currently faces charges after he allegedly shot a child with a BB gun.
According to deputies with the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office, Stephen Casey was taken into custody in the incident.
He reportedly said he'd been drinking when he saw something moving outside his house. Thinking it was a dog, he fired off a few rounds with his BB gun.
A child was struck in the lip and head by one of the BBs.
Casey was charged with wanton endangerment.
No other details were known.
