NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police officials arrested and charged a driver after a crash killed one of his backseat passengers and injured five others.
Police say 25-year-old Robert McMutary was intoxicated when he was involved in the deadly two-vehicle crash Saturday on the 200 block of Haywood Lane.
He was charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication, five counts of vehicular assault, two counts of aggravated child abuse, driving without a license, and no proof of insurance.
Of the five people that were injured, were two children.
McMutuary was released from the hospital Sunday and booked into the Metro Jail on the outstanding warrants. He was jailed in lieu of $416,000 bond.
