NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police officials arrested and charged 38-year-old Kenneth D. Patton in connection to a deadly crash on Buchanan Street near 6th Avenue North.
Police say Patton was driving a 2008 Kia Optima east on Buchanan Street at just before midnight when the car left the right side of the roadway and hit a utility pole. Patton's passenger, 48-year-old Alicia Pride was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Officials say Patton left before police arrived.
Patton was charged with fleeing the scene of a crash involving death as well as failure to render aid, failure to report the crash and driving on a revoked license. His bond is set at $27,000.
