A Cumberland County man was arrested and charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting.
Officials with the Kentucky State Police said 60-year-old Daniel A. Blair, from Burkesville, was arrested Thursday at 3:20 a.m. at 427 Veterans Alley in Burkesville.
He was charged with Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence in the death of 38-year-old Michael Taylor of Burkesville.
Taylor was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound on Wednesday. Police said Blair had been a passenger with Taylor earlier in the evening which later led to his arrest.
An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday evening at the state medical examiners office. Blair was lodged in the Adair County jail.
Investigators were still searching for Blair's wife, Pamela Blair and daughter, Katie Cooper.
An arrest warrant was issued for Pamela for tampering with physical evidence in connection to this investigation.
Police said she may be traveling in a white 2009 Chevy Aveo with Kentucky registration plate 926-RVX and in the company of Cooper.
Pamela was described as being 5'0", 130 lbs. with blonde hair and green eyes.
Katie Cooper was described as 5'3", 115 lbs. white female with blue eyes and may also have her 1-year-old daughter with her.
