NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man is charged in a crash that killed a Franklin woman in June.
24-year-old Christopher Dennis was arrested for vehicular homicide Monday night.
According to his arrest affidavit, Dennis crashed into Anna Miller's car at the intersection of Highway 100 and Temple Road on June 19.
Investigators said Dennis was speeding and crashed into the front driver side of Miller's car. Her car rotated and rolled onto the roof, sliding onto the curb and rotating back on its tires, police said.
Miller died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Investigators said Dennis acted recklessly because he was driving about 77 miles per hour on a road with a speed limit of 40 miles per hour.
The crash was captured on surveillance video at a nearby Zaxby's, according to Dennis' arrest affidavit.
