A man has been charged in connection with a shooting in north Nashville.
Officials with Metro Nashville police said Tevin Griffin shot a man on Blank Street in the Andrew Jackson Public Housing development back on September 8.
The victim survived and was able to help identify the suspect.
Police found Griffin Thursday in the same neighborhood, where he's also banned.
Officers gave chase after he allegedly started running. They eventually caught him at 16th Avenue North and Herman Street.
Where they arrested him, police said they found him in possession of crack cocaine, marijuana, cash and a loaded pistol.
He was booked on a $135,000 bond.
