NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Robertson County Sheriff's Office investigated a deadly shooting in Pleasant View late Monday night.
According to Smokey Barn News, deputies were called to a home on Jack Teasley Road at about 10:15p.m. Tuesday. According to the Sheriff's Office, emergency dispatchers received a phone call from 21-year-old Travis Presley, stating that a man had been shot outside the home.
Deputies got to the home and found Christopher Helser, 36, had died in the shooting.
Investigators said Presley had taken off from the scene following the shooting. They later found him down the road and arrested him.
Authorities have not yet released information about what led to the shooting.
Presley was booked into the Robertson County Jail on a charge of criminal homicide.
