NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A man has been hospitalized after police say his roommate stabbed him at their apartment.
Metro Nashville police spokesman Capt. Gregory Blair said officers responded to the residence early Monday and found 23-year-old Santiago Rosales-Ciprion with life-threatening injuries.
Police say Rosales-Ciprion's roommate, 24-year-old Efrain De La Cruz Gonzalez, was taken into custody. Gonzalez is charged with attempted criminal homicide.
Police say Rosales-Ciprion was sitting in his vehicle with a woman who said that he exited the car and started arguing with Gonzalez. The woman told police that Rosales-Ciprion returned to the vehicle and said that he'd been cut by Gonzalez.
Online jail records show Gonzalez is being held on bond. It isn't clear if he has an attorney.
Police say Rosales-Ciprion is in stable condition.
