ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man has been arrested after two Springfield businesses were robbed over the course of less than a week.

John Osborne, 23, was arrested Tuesday after a search warrant at a home on Mariview Drive in Springfield.

Deputies say they found a vehicle at the house that was used in the robbery of an Advanced Auto Parts store on Memorial Blvd. in Springfield on January 16.

Evidence was also found in connection with the robbery of a Dollar General store yesterday on Tom Austin Highway.

"This is another great example of law enforcement agencies working together to keep our City and County residents safe,” said Robertson County Sheriff Michael Van Dyke.

Osborne is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and three counts of aggravated assault. He is currently being held at the Robertson County Jail.
