Man charged with bigamy, identity theft in La Vergne; police say there may be more victims

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police in La Vergne say they’re looking for anyone who may have been victimized by an accused bigamist.

Police said Theodore R. Pointer III was arrested on December 10. He’s charged with bigamy and identity theft.

According to police, he’s currently going by the name of Noah R. Lyles. They said he’s also used the name Noah R. Muhammad III as recently as 2018.
