NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man has been charged with aggravated child abuse after allegedly hitting a 4-year-old with a belt in Goodlettsville.
The incident was reported in December when a mother left her children with a family friend so she could go Christmas shopping.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville police, the kids were left alone with Bobby Conner Jr.
When the mother picked up her kids, she said she noticed severe injuries on one child’s face, shoulders and back and took him to the hospital.
When police talked with the toddler, they said he told them Conner beat him with a belt that night.
Conner has been arrested and held without bond.
