LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was arrested following a crash involving an buggy in Lawrence County that sent three to the hospital.
Tennessee Highway Patrol said a vehicle driven by Ricky Burleson drove off the side of northbound U.S. 43 on Saturday, hitting an Amish buggy.
Two adults and a minor were inside the buggy. THP said the adults were taken to Vanderbilt hospital, and the child was treated at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Details on their injuries were not released.
Burleson was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence and three counts of vehicular assault.
