Kentucky State Police arrested and charged a man in connection to a body found in Trigg County.
The body of Keith "Joey" Hayes Jr. was found November 28 off of Buffalo road in Cadiz.
At the time there was no obvious sign of foul play, but investigators suspected homicide.
On Monday, December 3, a KSP detective arrested 43-year-old James W. Gentry of Hopkinsville for his role in Hayes Jr.'s death.
Gentry was charged with Murder and was booked into the Christian County Jail. Gentry had previously been arrested on November 30, 2018 for Receiving Stolen Property and Tampering with Physical Evidence, by KSP in relation to the murder investigation.
