NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man has been critically injured in a shooting, and authorities said they’re searching for the suspect.
According to officials, the shooting happened around 12:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of North 14th Street.
The victim was allegedly shot by his brother, identified as Trel Gates, approximately age 22.
Officials said the victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Police said Gates fled the scene in a vehicle before getting out and running from officers on foot.
Authorities said they’re searching for Gates around the Wallace and Harding area.
