Man Dies After Clarksville Robbery, Shooting

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A man has died following a late-night shooting and robbery at a Clarksville home. 

The incident happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday on Hundred Oaks Drive. 

Investigators said four people were inside the home when two armed men walked in through an open back door. 

At some point, there was a fight which led to the shooting. 

Police said the suspects took property from inside the home and got away before officers arrived on the scene. 

The victim, identified on Thursday as 34-year-old Christopher Lane, of Clarksville, was taken to Tennova Healthcare with critical injuries. Police said he died Wednesday morning.
