Man critically injured in shooting outside Nashville home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 29-year-old man was critically injured when he was shot multiple times outside a home south of downtown Nashville Wednesday morning.

According to Metro Police, the man was outside a home on Charles E. Davis Boulevard at about 2:00a.m. Wednesday.

The family inside the home heard gunshots and found the victim in the bushes. Metro police and paramedics arrived and the victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical center with critical injuries.

Metro police said the victim had to undergo emergency surgery.

Officers said they have no description of the suspect or a motive at this time.
