Man dies after being found shot in Antioch parking lot

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Police say they’re trying to piece together what led to the deadly shooting of a man in the parking lot of an Antioch apartment complex.

The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Abbington Heights Apartments on Hickory Hollow Trace.

Police say the victim, identified as 24-year-old Edward Earl Johnson, was shot in the upper torso. He was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he died.

At this point, it’s unclear what led to the shooting. No arrests have been made.
