Springfield Police Seek Help In Deadly Shooting

Springfield police have asked the public's help for information after a man was killed in a late-night shooting. 

Officers responded to a shooting call in the area of 15th Avenue and Leota Street around 11 p.m. Friday. 

Officers found a man – identified as Perry Brown, of Nashville – who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to Northcrest Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said there were 15 to 20 people at the site where the shooting took place. Several witnesses have come forward but officers want to talk to anyone else who was there.
