Officials have recovered the body of a man who died at Fall Creek Falls State Park.
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation said a 49-year-old Hispanic man was with his family at the park Monday evening.
Officials were waiting on autopsy results to determine the cause of death and the details surrounding his death were unclear, but they believed he either fell or was swimming and drowned.
The man's body was recovered Tuesday morning at the falls behind the park’s Visitor Center.
The investigation was ongoing.
