CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An investigation has gotten underway in Crossville after a man was fatally wounded in a shooting on New Year’s Day.
Cumberland County Sheriff’s officials said they were called to the scene at 115 Sandy Creek Road around 12:20 p.m. due a reported shooting.
Paul Wing, age 58, was found injured at the scene and taken to Cumberland Medical Center, where he later died.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was also called to the scene.
Officials said an autopsy would be conducted. No additional details were available.
