Escaped Christian County inmate captured in Indiana

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WTVF) — A 61-year-old inmate who escaped from the Christian County Jail through a heating and cooling air duct has been captured in Indiana.

Kentucky State Police confirmed Creadell Hubbard was taken into custody shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday in Evansville, where he has ties.

Details of his arrest were not immediately known. A $5,000 reward had been offered for his capture.

Hubbard, who’s a suspect in a shooting on Jago Road, escaped Tuesday. He was arrested on charges including first-degree possession of a firearm and handgun by a convicted felon.
