NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police arrested a driver overnight after he struck a power pole and then got stuck in the electrical wires.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on Bell Road at Lake Chateau Drive in Hermitage.
Metro Nashville police said Joseph Green ran after the crash, but they later found him in the woods nearby. He’s facing charges of DUI and leaving the scene of a crash.
Nashville Electric Service crews will be out later to make sure the pole isn't damaged.
