Man facing several charges after Hendersonville drive-by shooting

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Hendersonville.

The incident happened at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Volunteer Drive.

Hendersonville police said 31-year-old Austin Ellis was identified as a suspect and a search warrant was executed at his residence on Old Shackle Island Road.

Ellis was taken into custody Saturday morning.

He was booked for reckless endangerment, unlawful possession of a firearm and also charged with possessing heroin, crystal meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
