A man hiding from police was trapped for hours after he somehow fell and became stuck in a wall.
The incident happened Thursday on the 1400 block of Union Hill Road in Goodlettsville.
Officials on the scene said Bradley Felton had climbed into the rafters of a horse barn when he fell and became trapped in a six inch gap in the wall.
He was stuck for about eight hours until crews could reach him.
Goodlettsville firefighters used a thermal imager to find Felton's exact location in the wall. GFD Lt. Ryan Stone said Felton likely only had an inch or two on either side of his body in the wall.
Felton's step father said he found the 46-year-old man at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, some eight hours after Felton fell into the wall. The step father said Felton was hiding because he had a felony probation violation and police had been looking for him.
Stone said Felton is lucky to be alive.
"Had nobody came into that stable, had nobody came out as early as they did given the recent temperatures, he would've been in a lot worse shape than he was found," said Stone. "If it was a record high temperature day, being stuck in there with no food or water in near hundred degree temperatures, he very well could've died in that wall."
Felton was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Court records indicate he has a long criminal history in the Nashville area.
