NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Mt. Juliet detectives are investigating after a man's body was found in a wooded area.
Officials say the body was located in the 1000 block of Secretariat Drive around 8:30 p.m. on Monday. A resident detected a foul odor near their home and located a decomposing body.
Investigators believe that foul play was likely not involved in the man's death. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Detectives have not been able to identify the man but he is described as a thin, white, male in the late teens to early 20s.
