NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A shooting late Friday night left a man with injuries lying on the sidewalk.
Officers received a call about a victim having been shot across from the Drake Hotel. When they arrived, they found a man lying on the sidewalk next to the street sign on Paris Avenue and Murfreesboro Pike.
Police said the victim appeared to have a gunshot wound in the area of his lower abdomen.
The Nashville Fire Department transported the victim to Vanderbilt Hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.
The investigation into this shooting is ongoing.
