NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police responded to an Antioch fast food restaurant overnight after a man was found shot in the parking lot.

The incident was reported around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at a McDonald’s on Hickory Hollow Lane.

A customer in the drive-thru told police they witnessed 26-year-old Yaki Sayles in an argument with another man. They then heard a gunshot and saw Sayles laying on the ground and a late model blue four-door sedan leaving the area.

Sayles had been shot in the torso. He died at the hospital that afternoon.

Detectives asked anyone with information about Sayles’ activities earlier in the day and who he was conversing with in the McDonald’s parking lot at 4:30 a.m. to call at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
