NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro police are investigating after a man was found shot to death under a vehicle north of Nashville.
Officers on the scene confirmed shots were fired around 3 a.m. Friday. Hours later, the body of Fidel Stem was found partially under a vehicle near 23rd Avenue North and Osage Street.
Witnesses told police they heard gunshots and saw Stern running with another man from the area.
The 23-year-old's body was discovered at 6:30 a.m. by a man leaving his residence.
Investigators were called to the scene and canvassed 23rd Avenue for evidence. Several shell casings were found along the street.
Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
