HUMBOLDT, Tenn. (AP) - A Humboldt man has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole for the death of a two-year-old boy.
The Humboldt Police Department has announced that 23-year-old Quadarius D. Bufford was found guilty last week of first-degree murder as a result of aggravated child abuse in the death of 2-year-old Brayden Taylor.
Investigators say the infant was the son of Bufford's girlfriend. He was found unresponsive and pronounced dead on Nov. 21, 2013. No further details were released about the boy's death.
Bufford will have to serve 51 years before he will be eligible for parole.
