HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Old Hickory Boulevard in Hermitage.
The Wednesday night crash happened just before 6 p.m. at the 5000 block in front of the Chilli's restaurant. All northbound lanes of Old Hickory Boulevard were closed as police investigated the crash.
Metro Nashville Police officials say the man was hit by a semi fuel truck. The driver told police they didn't see the victim until hitting him.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
