GALLATIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was killed Monday afternoon while walking in Gallatin.
Police said Keith Lamonte Bell was hit by a white Jeep near Britton Avenue and Joslin Street around 3:30 p.m.
The Jeep was found a short distance away from the scene of the crash. Police said the driver, Dwain Mitchell Patton, is facing aggravated vehicular homicide and leaving the scene with serious bodily injury charges.
Bell was taken to Sumner Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
