A 20-year-old man has been arrested after his father identified him as a suspect in a robbery.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, 20-year-old Maurice Maxwell was taken to the Metro Jail after being on the run for nearly a week.
The suspect was arrested in connection with a robbery at a PCS store near Brick Church Pike and Ewing Drive. Police said a group of suspects robbed an employee at gunpoint.
Maxwell was the alleged getaway driver and was seen on surveillance video driving a black Hummer.
Investigators said Maxwell went inside the store prior to the robbery and was wearing a red jogging suit. His face clearly visible.
About 10 minutes later, the other suspects robbed the store.
Maxwell’s father called police after seeing his son's photos on local news outlets.
He was booked on robbery charges. The other suspects have yet to be identified.
