NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man found stabbed outside his apartment on Clare Avenue has died from his injuries.
Metro police said 52-year-old Melvin Daniel was stabbed in his apartment, then knocked on his neighbor's door for help before collapsing.
Daniel was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries, and later died.
Police do not have a description of the suspect at this time. Officers said Daniel lived alone and was known to have frequent visitors.
