NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police took a man into custody Friday morning after a crash involving a Metro Nashville school bus. Only minor injuries were reported.
The three-vehicle collision happened before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Neely's Bend Road and Forest Park Road in Madison. Metro Police say the driver of a white car caused the collision when he turned in front of a van.
The impact of the crash forced the car under the school bus, which was stopped at the time. The Smithson Craighead Academy bus was able to leave the scene once crews moved the car.
Four kids and the driver of the van were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
