Man indicted, 15 juveniles charged in death of Brentwood teen

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Williamson County Grand Jury indicted a man in an incident that led to the death of a 16-year-old in Brentwood.

Lucas Davis, 16, was found unresponsive in a field behind a home on the 9000 block of Old Smyrna Road/ Residents told NewsChannel 5 they heard a group camping or partying behind their neighbor's home. 

Casey Shacklett, 48, was indicted on 16 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Shacklett surrendered to police Friday at the Brentwood Police Department where he was booked. He was later transported to the Williamson County Jail where he posted a $1,500 bond and was released.

Brentwood Police also obtained juvenile petitions charging fifteen juveniles who were present at the time of the incident with Possession of Alcohol Underage.
