THOMPSON'S STATION, Tenn. (WTVF) — One was killed in a crash involving a dump truck in Thompson's Station Friday afternoon.
According to THP's report of the crash, a dump truck was traveling south on Carters Creek Pike. A 2005 Chevrolet Impala - driven by 49-year-old Billie Barker - was traveling the opposite direction on Carters Creek.
The driver of the dump truck crossed the center line, hitting the Impala and killing Barker.
The dump truck driver was injured in the crash, and taken to Maury Regional for treatment of his injuries.
The investigation of this crash is ongoing.
