NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was killed in a shooting outside an auto shop in East Nashville Saturday morning.
Police say Brentnol James, 58, shot and killed Brian Shannon, 51, around 9:20 a.m. in the parking lot of James' automotive business on the 200 block of East Trinity Lane.
According to Metro Police, James told detectives in an interview that he and Shannon had an ongoing dispute for years.
James is being held without bond pending a hearing.
