NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man died in a hit-and-run crash after he was hit by a vehicle in the Germantown area of Nashville Monday night.
Metro Nashville Police officials said 51-year-old Aaron Wilkerson was hit at Rosa L. Parks Boulevard and Monroe Street, but the vehicle had left the scene before officers responded.
Another driver saw him on the ground at 8:20 p.m. and called 911. Wilkerson was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or driver was asked to call the Emergency Communications Center at 862-8600, hit and run investigators at 862-7713 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
