NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have released the identity of a man killed in a shooting overnight in Nashville.
The incident happened shortly before midnight Thursday, near a residence on Hermosa Street.
Officials with Metro police said 36-year-old Reginald Ford was fatally shot outside his home.
When police arrived on the scene, they found Ford near his car with a gunshot wound to his head. He died at the scene.
According to police, the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
