NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was shot and killed in North Nashville Tuesday night after an incident, which is still under investigation.
Metro Nashville Police say 40-year-old Okpara Arnold was shot and killed.
The gunman was in a vehicle with Arnold's ex-girlfriend on 14th Avenue North when Arnold allegedly rammed the vehicle with his Chevrolet Impala.
The gunman told police Arnold hit the vehicle so many times it was disabled. The woman ran from the vehicle and the man fired toward Arnold, hitting him.
Arnold was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
No charges have been filed against the gunman. The investigation is ongoing.
