Authorities confirmed a 49-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Bell Road.
The wreck happened around 4:20 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block.
According to a preliminary investigation, the man was driving east in a 2008 Nissan Sentra when left the road and hit a utility pole, causing the vehicle to catch on fire.
Police said he was not wearing a seatbelt. He died at the scene.
No evidence at the scene indicated that alcohol or drugs were involved.
Officials said positive identification of the victim would be made by the Medical Examiner.
