A single-vehicle crash on Murfreesboro Pike killed the driver involved.
According to Metro Nashville Police Department officials, 54-year-old Timothy L. Wallace of Nashville died in a crash on Murfreesboro Pike at Town Park Drive.
Police said Wallace was driving a 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup truck inbound on Murfreesboro Pike when the vehicle left the roadway, traveled up an embankment and struck a metal utility pole.
There were no signs of braking prior to impact. The cause of the crash was not known.
