A man was killed when he was hit by a vehicle in Clarksville.
According to officials with the Clarksville Police Department, 69-year-old David Gibbs was hit by a driver in his 50s who was traveling west on the 41A Bypass Monday night.
The victim allegedly walked into the path of oncoming traffic. He was transported to Tennova Healthcare where he later died from his injuries.
This was the 13th vehicle fatality for 2017.
Police said no charges would be filed.
